Ariane Rees is a leading singing teacher and voice coach specialising in a unique method of vocal tuition: Yoga of the Voice.

Based in Barcelona, Ariane is one of Spain's leading singing teachers and runs a private voice coaching studio which currently has vacancies to take on several additional private students.The main focus of her work is on personal instruction (which is always personally tailored to individual needs) and she additionally regularly organises workshops, masterclasses and group lessons both throughout the Catalunya area and in the UK and Germany.

Ariane's coursers and voice classes are particularly suited to amateur and professional singers, actors and public speakers such as business people but are equally suitable for those with little or no singing or vocal experience - training is given on the basis of a tailor-made individual personal assessment and involves vocal exercises and specifically developed techniques to improve voice projection, boost confidence and develop all-round performance in public presentations and performance.

Ariane is also an accomplished performer in her own right and is a classically trained professional singer (mezzo soprano) who studied opera at the Hochschule for music and theatre in Hanover, Germany before receiving her Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has performed Oratorio and Recital throughout the UK, France, Germany & Italy and regularly performs with various early music groups including the acclaimed medieval music troupe Mediva as well as recording her own renditions of early medieval Sephardic and middle eastern music and engaging in solo performances accompanying herself on the piano or harp.

She is currently available for bookings in regard to all performances from weddings, solo shows or corporate functions.
